Back to Matilda Jane. All the pieces are from Good Hart collection (Spring 2013), except for Alice’s headband – that one is from House of Clouds collection. Here is the breakdown. Ellie: Pleasantville tank, Sea Salt skirt, and she’s wearing Salsa Verde shorties under. Alice: Lilac Lush Sara top and Farm Fresh shorties. Both girls are wearing Livie and Luca Petal shoes.
For a hot day like this the light rompers are a must. These are A.Bird Ana rompers, Alice’s is in Stripe, and Ellie’s is in Dove Gray. Then I thought to try them with tees under to protect girls’ shoulders from burning sun, and it turned out great as well. It also can be a version for a school outfit if your school prohibits spaghetti straps like ours does. Alice’s simple tee is from Zara, her headband is called Popcorn by Matilda Jane, and her shoes are Unionbay. Ellie’s tee is from Gap, her Fairy Dust headband is from Sail Away collection by Persnickety, and her shoes are PePe suede Mary Janes in Star Print.
Three Persnickety collections from Spring 2014 met harmoniously in these outfits. Alice is dressed in Ivy Top and Grey Stripe leggings from Sail Away collection. Ellie’s tunic called Grey Dot Lou Lou Dress and it is from Bo Peep collection. Her Yellow Stripe Triple Ruffle leggings are from Garden Party collection. Alice is wearing Joyfolie Kat shoes, and Ellie – Livie and Luca Sky Blue Petals.
Ellie is wearing a beautiful set of lace dress and matching leggings by Little Mass. Her shoes are PePe Mary Janes in Star Print.
Very casual and styled down, yet beautiful girl’s outfit for a day at the camp. Alice is wearing Persnickety Elsie peplum top with Matilda Jane Daydreamer Big Ruffles that match the color of the vintage telephone exactly.
Beautiful girls outfits in white/cream tones. Alice – Persnickety Ivory Double Ruffle tee and Mimi skirt in white/ivory. She’s accessorized with Cream Lace necklace and Creamsicle headband, all by Persnickety. Ellie – A.Bird Toni Dobby top with Persnickety Cream Bloomers from Apple Blossom collection. Her accessories – Persnickety Zaya-Ann headband and Ivory Opal belt with feathers. Joyfolie shoes for both, Alice’s are called Kat and Ellie’s are Adele in Black Polka Dot.
I had to post all three pictures! The first one shows the beautiful back of the Betsy Halter top that Ellie is wearing with Double Ruffle Bells in blue. I love Ellie’s pose on the second one – Botticelli style. Her headband is called Wishing Well. The third picture showcases the ruffled side of Alice’s Ellie dress – yes, that’s the name of the dress! All these are from Persnickety‘s Bo Peep collection. Alice’s Persnickety headband is Fairy Dust from Sail Away collection. She’s wearing Zara Leather Ballerina flats in makeup pink color. Ellie’s shoes are gold Pio Pio by Livie and Luca.
These dresses are so girly! Ellie’s white dress is by Cherokee that is sold in the department stores. She’s wearing it with Joyfolie Adele Bow shoes in Black Polka Dot and matching hair clip that came with the shoes. Alice’s dress is Ooh La La Couture Flower Heart Pink Tulle Dress. Her shoes are Carter’s striped loafers.
Matilda Jane Polly Peasant top from Serendipity collection is so adorable and comfortable. Ellie’s pants are from the same line and called Chocolate Chip Big Ruffles. They match the ruffle on the top perfectly. Livie and Luca Pink Petals and MJ headband echoing the same pink of the top and creating pink/brown solid outfit.
On Father’s Day girls were excited to wear colors and patterns to honor Dad (and it’s my favorite palette too). Alice’s dress is Blu Pony Vintage Clara B. in Copper Plaid. She’s wearing Ellie’s Daydreamer Big Ruffles by Matilda Jane underneath. She has a pair of these pants in her size as well, but we didn’t want ‘pant with dress’ look this time, so we needed something shorter. A stretchy waistband allows her to wear much smaller sizes of that style comfortably. That way we visually created an additional layer of the dress, and these pants protect Alice from an accidental underwear flash, giving her the freedom of movement. Her light blue headband is Persnickety Fairy Dust from Sail Away collection, and the shoes are Joyfolie Kats. Ellie has a mix of brands in her outfit as well. Wrapping her head is Matilda Jane Popcorn headband from Serendipity collection. It has long ties on the back that are hanging like a scarf – love it! Her top is Hotline Anna from a very old Matilda Jane line of 2009. Persnickety Bloomers in cream are from Apple Blossom collection. PePe suede Mary Janes in Star Print for the shoes.
