To church the girls wore Poppy dresses. Alice’s dress is called Betty London Print in Mustard. She’s wearing it with Clare removable collar by A.Bird. Ellie’s dress is Millie Snowstorm in Grey. Livie and Luca Piper shoes in yellow suede and teal patent toes on Alice. Ellie’s shoes are PePe perforated Spectators.

I love this Eliane et Lena ‘open back’ dress that Ellie is wearing. The black long sleeve tee is not a separate piece, it’s all sewn together and stays comfortably in place, even if your daughter is a little hurricane like my Ellie. The name of the dress is Iso. She’s wearing it with Confetti tights, Persnickety Brownie Pie headband, and PePe suede boots. Alice is wearing all Jak & Peppar: Lace on My Mind top, Woodstock Maxi skirt, Janey leggings in olive, and Stevie headband. Her short green suede boots are by Naturino.
The dresses from Persnickety Holiday collection of 2014 can be easily worn after the Holidays. Ellie’s dress is Cassie long sleeve tunic, two sizes larger than her usual size – for length. Alice’s dress is Mallory in tan. She’s wearing it with Elsa braid headband tied around her waist as a belt for the dress. For the actual headband – Holly in hard version. Ellie is accessorized with Red Holiday necklace, also by Persnickety, but from 2013 collection. Her hair clips are by Joyfolie. Both girls are wearing Eliane et Lena tights, Michiko on Ellie, and Lola on Alice. PePe boots in black suede with brown bows on Ellie, and red Aster Mariana boots in Chili Bronx suede on Alice.
On our way to amusement park. Persnickety Betty top and Denim Skinny jeans on Alice are from Autumn Splendor collection. Ellie’s Basic Black Stripe leggings are from the same collection by Persnickety. Her beautiful girly tunic in nude pink stretch mesh is Bells and Whistles top by Dollcake Clothing. The military style buttony bustle jacket is called Aafje and it’s by Pom Pom. Both headbands are by Persnickety, Goldielocks headband from Apple Blossom collection on Alice and Ellie’s braid is Elsa headband from their Holiday 2014 collection. Dr. Martens Brooklee boots in Mini Tydee pattern are on Alice and PePe black suede short boots with brown bows on Ellie.
Black is for Black Friday. Swing coat in pin houndstooth pattern on Ellie is Amelia E. jacket by Blu Pony Vintage. Ellie is wearing it with Persnickety double lace leggings and PePe black suede boots. Alice’s Blake coat in polka dot is by A.Bird, which she’s wearing with Gap basic leggings and UGG Cardy knit cable boots.
Okay, last Thanksgiving set of outfits, and the favorite one! This Matilda Jane dress I had to get in the next size up from the last year – this is the dress that made me fall in love with this brand. It’s called Percy Knot apron dress with apple applique and it’s from You & Me collection. Alice is wearing it over MJ Cinnamon long sleeve tee. Her leggings are Persnickety, headband Jak & Peppar Empress (noticed how often it’s needed at fall?)) and PePe shoes in antique bronze. Ellie’s outfit has a story too. This Miss Sixty Jacket and Jeans set I bought a while ago for Alice, but when it arrived she didn’t fit in it. I loved it so much that didn’t want to part with it just yet, so it stayed to wait for Ellie to grow up. I didn’t expect it to fit her this year, as it’s a size 4, but she grew so much these last few months that it fit her at 2 and a half! We just rolled the sleeves twice and voila! Under the jacket she’s wearing the same Matilda Jane Cinnamon tee that Alice is wearing. Her Harvest headband is by MJ as well. Shoes are Livie and Luca Clove in yellow embossed leather. I love all the vintage spirit in both of these sets – washed out colors of the dress, knit extensions of the jacket sleeves, “legwarmer”part of the pants, patches, stripes – everything’s just perfect for my liking!
Back to Thanksgiving outfits! Persnickety Gold Dot Lou Lou top and matching leg warmers with Rust Ruched Skirt, Old Navy basic brown leggings, and PePe Prairie boots – Alice’s outfit for today. Ellie is wearing Persnickety Red Laylah Top with Matilda Jane Thelma Big Ruffles, Jak & Peppar Empress headband in burnt red, and Joyfolie Harlow shoes.
It’s not Thanksgiving yet, but all the stores are Christmas crazy already! I love Thanksgiving/Fall color palette with burnt reds, orange and browns and don’t want to miss this short time window of dressing my girls in those colors. But the girls started to count days until Christmas and for this trip to the mall we chose a little more Christmassy outfits. Alice is wearing an older Persnickety Owl Holiday tee with Black Ruched Waist Skirt from their 2013 Golden Girl collection, and Red Button Tab Leggings from Fall 2012. Red Aster Mariana boots in Chili Bronx Suede complete her outfit. My little Ellie is wearing Eliane et Lena Reinette dress in Carreaux and their Eva red striped tights with black legwarmers. Her black suede boots with the bows are by PePe.
