The girls wanted to dance in their ‘puffy’ dresses, so I asked them to pose for me after they dressed up. Ellie’s sequin dress with pink bow is Ooh La La ‘Wow Dream’. She’s wearing it with Bloch Glitz black sparkly ballet flats. Alice’s dress with sequin silver stripes and black bow is a ‘Party Dress’ by Biscotti. She chose to wear Joyfolie Maci Spectator boots with it. Both girls are wearing Persnickety white ruffle shorts under their dresses.
Janie and Jack tops, Persnickety bottoms. Ellie’s Fox Print Grey Top and Alice’s Faux Fur Collar Sparkle Sweater are from Festive Fox collection by Janie and Jack. Ellie’s Persnickety Brook Skirt in yellow with the city skyline applique is from October Sky collection. Alice’s Gold Bubble skirt with birds on branches print is from Persnickety’s Spring 2012 collection. Both girls are wearing the same Persnickety Grey Dot leggings. Both headbands are by Persnickety as well. The yellow one on Ellie is Goldielocks headband, and Alice’s is called Zaya Gray Rosette headband. Boots are: Kickers Billy4 on Ellie, and Joyfolie Maci in Gray on Alice.
For a trip to the zoo we wore somewhat equestrian style. Ellie is wearing Quilted Vest in tan and Plaid Ponte pants by Janie and Jack from their English Rider collection. Her puffer sleeve top is Persnickety Shoe Applique tee. Shoes are Joyfolie Harlow in brown with cream pleats and black bows. Alice has all pieces by different designers on. Her Persnickety ruffle sleeve tee is from Pretty in Pink collection with the Audrey Hepburn quote ‘I Believe in PINK’. Over it Alice has a Blu Pony Vintage plaid light jacket on, Lenora H. style. Her quilted tan skirt is from Derby Darling collection by Janie and Jack. Fur brown boots are Larisa2 by Petasil.
To the New Year celebration the girls went in cream dresses with gold patterns. Both dresses had magenta thin sashes, Ellie’s was a part of the dress, and Alice’s – detachable. Ellie’s dress is Cherokee in Almond Cream, and boots are Joyfolie Elery in Latte. Alice’s dress is Joyfolie Nellie in Triangles, and boots are of the same brand, Lacey in Rose. Persnickety Mesh long sleeve tees and Cream Mesh Cuffs on both.
Today the girls wore golden dresses in preparation to the New Year’s celebration. Ellie’s dress is by Oshkosh, and Alice’s is from Gap store. Under the dress Ellie has a Mini Boden layering tee, and Alice – Persnickety mesh tee. The boots are Kickers Billy4 on Ellie, and Joyfolie Lacey boots in tan – on Alice.
I think it’s becoming a tradition – for the Christmas party the girls are wearing storytelling border print dresses. Ellie’s Betty dress in London print is by Poppy of England. She’s wearing it with Joyfolie Elery boots in Latte color, and accessorized with Persnickety Lace necklace and Zaya-Ann headband. Alice’s Phoebe Winter Wonderland dress in Balmoral Border print is by Joules. Her boots are Lacey in Rose by Joyfolie, and she’s accessorized with Persnickety Lace sash and Creamsicle headband.
These Christmas outfits are both Persnickety, but the one on Ellie is from this year’s Holiday collection and the one Alice is wearing is from couple years back. Well, technically Alice’s Nellie dress with the bird applique is from Fall 2012 Jeweled Forest collection, but it looks pretty Christmassy… and just pretty. She’s wearing it with the matching basic leggings in pink stripe, and Cecilia headband in the same pink stripe. Cream Mesh Tee under the dress. Her red boots are Aster Mariana in Chili Bronx Suede. Ellie’s black and tan outfit is from Persnickety’s 2014 Holiday collection: Basic Holiday Applique tee with stockings and striped sleeves, and Coral skirt in tan. She’s wearing Brownie Pie headband, also by Persnickety, and Joyfolie Harlow shoes in brown with cream pleats and black bows.
Trish Scully paisley pleated dress in tan/black, with simple black Zara tights, and Joyfolie Lacey boots in tan – on Alice. Her hair clips are Joyfolie, that came together with the boots. Ellie’s outfit is: Janie and Jack Lace Print dress in tan/black, Eliane et Lena Michiko tights, Pageboy hat by Jak & Peppar, and Kickers Billy4 patent leather ankle boots in beige.
Alice’s A.Bird Kate dress in Cream/Gray is paired with simple Gap leggings. It matches Ellie’s Persnickety Playdate top in Cream and Double Ruffle Bells in Grey from Fall 2014 October Sky collection. Both girls’ shoes are Joyfolie: Alice’s boots are Maci in Gray, and Ellie’s lace Mary Janes with pretty bows are called Ellie.
Back to Thanksgiving outfits! Persnickety Gold Dot Lou Lou top and matching leg warmers with Rust Ruched Skirt, Old Navy basic brown leggings, and PePe Prairie boots – Alice’s outfit for today. Ellie is wearing Persnickety Red Laylah Top with Matilda Jane Thelma Big Ruffles, Jak & Peppar Empress headband in burnt red, and Joyfolie Harlow shoes.
