I love vintage looking dresses! Dropped waist Zara dress that Alice is wearing looks like it came straight from the 1930s. We wore Matilda Jane Popcorn headband low and wide to add to that 1930s flare. The cream flower clip/pin is by Persnickety. Her lace shoes are by Unionbay. Ellie is wearing a stunning Blu Pony Vintage Dorothy L. dress with Persnickety Cream bloomers from Apple Blossom collection. Her pink flower hair clip is by Persnickety. Joyfolie Adele shoes.

These are the pieces from an older Farmers Market collection by Persnickety. This collection is very consistent in it’s green/turquoise/tan colors and patterns of humming birds and flowers. On Alice: Green Lou Lou top, Tie skirt, and matching Finley headband. Ellie is wearing Tea Party dress. Her headband is by Matilda Jane with Persnickety Flower clip/pin attached. Shoes: mustard Livie and Luca Petals and Carter’s striped sandals.

This cute drop waist dress is an Isabel Garreton creation. It looks like a tunic on my tall baby, so Mini Boden Cropped Turn-up jeans to the rescue! Shoes are Livie and Luca sky blue Petals.

On this hot day Ellie feels comfortable in her Matilda Jane Strawberry Fields Knot top from Good Hart collection and Cheerful Shorties from It’s A Wonderful Parade collection. Sky blue Petals from Livie and Luca match the bodice color of the top.

Blu Pony Vintage floral party dress seems to blend well with Apple Blossom collection from Persnickety. The dress is called Dorothy L, and Alice is wearing it with Zara Leather Ballerina flats in pink and Persnickety Vintage pink headband. Ellie is wearing Persnickety Peplum Lou Lou top and Cream Floral Mae shorts. She’s accessorized with a Creamsicle headband from the same Persnickety collection, and her shoes are Livie and Luca pink Petals.

7/4/14 4th of July Fireworks
For the fireworks girls switched to a traditional red/white/blue palette. Ellie’s dress called 4th of July Stars and Stripes by Ooh La La Couture. In her hair she has a matching glittery red star barrette, which is from Gymboree. Her navy polka dot shoes with white bows are from Coastal Getaway collection by Janie and Jack. Alice is wearing Persnickety‘s Double Ruffle tee from Basic Whites collection and Double Ruffle jeans. She’s accessorized with Persnickety Red Holiday necklace and the same star hair clip that Ellie has. Her shoes are striped Carter’s loafers.
7/4/14 Fourth of July
For this 4th of July we decided to go a little unorthodox with stars and stripes in a monochrome gray palette. Both, striped dress and star romper, are from Gap‘s recent summer release. The headbands are by Persnickety, Zaya-Ann in cream for Alice and Zaya Gray Rosette for Ellie. Girls’ shoes are Joyfolie, Kats for Alice and Delani flats for Ellie.
