I’m back from vacation and will resume loading you with ideas for cute mixes and matches! Yesterday was cloudy, warm, and nice, and girls wore navy blue and white outfits. Ellie wore gorgeous Eliane et Lena floral summer dress called Naoki. I love the bodice details and structure on front and back of this dress, and included pictures for both. She’s wearing it with our favorite PePe perforated Spectator Mary Janes and Persnickety striped hair clip. Alice was wearing Persnickety Tank with written Martha Washington quote and Jak & Peppar skinny jeans called Peppar Prep School skinnies. They look awesome, but Alice was complaining about their super low rise, afraid that her underwear would show when she sits down:) Her boots are by Naartjie.

Beautiful Matilda Jane dresses: Icing on the Cake Ballerina dress from Matilda Jane Platinum on Alice, and Confetti Ballerina dress from Matilda Jane‘s Hammond Bay collection – on Ellie. Alice is wearing her dress with Melissa for Vivienne Westwood Anglomania wedge platform jelly shoes, and Ellie – with Joyfolie Jasmine shoes.

Simple Matilda Jane dresses are perfect for a trip to the pool. Alice is wearing Redhead (or some call it Red Headed) Pearl dress with Starlet shorties. I’m not quiet sure, but think this dress is from MJ’s Sparkletown collection of 2009. Her shorties are from 2012 Serendipity collection. On Ellie – Stargazer Pearl dress from 2009 Gypsy Blue collection, and Candied Delight capri leggings from the current 2015 Hello Lovely collection. Shoes are: PePe Vitello Rose ballet flats on Alice, and Mini Melissa Furadinha with apples on Ellie.

For a dinner night my girls dressed up in their ruffle dresses. Ellie’s black and white dress with bubble ruffles is by Monnalisa. Her shoes are Printed Pumps in Strawberry from Next Direct. Alice had a pretty pink dress on with brown print and pink stripes by Bonnie Jean. She was asking me to get her shoes with heels for a long time, but I didn’t want her to look like a midget in adult shoes. But when I saw these Melissa for Vivienne Westwood Anglomania wedge platform jellies in her size I could not resist.

Today we tried a pretty unusual for a girls’ wardrobe combination of navy blues with olive greens. Ellie is wearing Matilda Jane set of Meet at Dusk skirt, Simple Things tank, and Low Key shorties from current Hello Lovely collection. I was expecting the tank and shorts to match the skirt’s deep blue, as all three pieces were from the same release, and was disappointed that they turned out to be so much lighter. Green Mossy Willow hooded coat keeps Ellie warm – it’s from Matilda Jane’s Hammond Bay collection. Alice is wearing a beautiful mini dress by Tea Collection called Calico Parakeets T-shirt dress in Heritage Blue. Headbands are: Persnickety Idalia in Blue Stripe on Ellie, and Matilda Jane Bluebell headband on Alice. Shoes: PePe perforated Spectator Mary Janes on Ellie, and Naartjie Smile boots on Alice.

For her waltz dance at school’s end-of-the-year Spring Fling Alice chose to wear Persnickety Corset dress from their Holiday collection. She’s wearing it over Lace Overlay tee, also by Persnickety, and Gap basic leggings. Her shoes are Ultragirl Sweet IX flats by Melissa. She’s accessorized with Persnickety Lace necklace and Creamsicle headband.

Oilily yellow pleather jumper dress is worn over Matilda Jane set of Lichen Tee and Truest Compass Ribbed leggings. I love how wide and loose this jumper is, the enormous amount of pockets, and fuzzy appliqué on the back! The yellow of Chelsea boots in Sunflower Patent leather by Mini Boden matched the jumper perfectly. They are from current Boden collection and still available in all sizes!

Persnickety day! These are the pieces from different collections, but all by Persnickety. On Ellie: Burn Out Laylah top in Gold with Red Velvet Skinny jeans and Goldielocks headband. Her boots are Camper Beetles. On Alice: Scissors Applique puffer top in gold, Green Skinny jeans with side pockets, and Newsboy hat. PePe Maisole boots.

Alice’s outfits is: Persnickety Clara Estelle peplum top in plaid, Jak & Peppar Basic Olive leggings, and Heartfelt Hoodie in Burnt Red Motif. Brocade Maisole PePe boots in Taupe complete her outfit.
