For a Christmas day outing we chose a striking black and white palette. Alice is wearing A.Bird Kate dress in Blk/Crm over Persnickety Basic Geo Black leggings. In her hair she has Persnickety Black Stripe Sally Clip, but she turned her head and it’s not showing. Ellie is dressed in Persnickety Black Lou Lou top and a black and white panel skirt of an unknown brand – it doesn’t have tags and I don’t remember how we acquired it. Probably eBay. Tights are Old Navy with cat design. Her hair clips are Joyfolie in gold that come in the boxes with boots. Both girls are wearing Dr. Martens Brooklee boots in Mini Tydee.

Christmas morning the girls met in their holiday pajamas – Ellie is wearing Matilda Jane Surprise Puffer tee and Snowcone Ruffled leggings. Alice’s pajama is Jak and Peppar Lace on My Mind top and Janey leggings, both in Olive.

I think it’s becoming a tradition – for the Christmas party the girls are wearing storytelling border print dresses. Ellie’s Betty dress in London print is by Poppy of England. She’s wearing it with Joyfolie Elery boots in Latte color, and accessorized with Persnickety Lace necklace and Zaya-Ann headband. Alice’s Phoebe Winter Wonderland dress in Balmoral Border print is by Joules. Her boots are Lacey in Rose by Joyfolie, and she’s accessorized with Persnickety Lace sash and Creamsicle headband.

Ah, my little Christmas trees! Ellie’s Deux par Deux sweater and skirt turned out to be a perfect color match for Alice’s Persnickety Ginger dress from Holiday 2013 collection. She’s wearing it with A.Bird Clare removable collar. The headbands are: Jak & Peppar Empress in burnt red on Ellie, and Persnickety Peppermint on Alice. Boots: Oilily on Ellie, and Naturino on Alice.

These Christmas outfits are both Persnickety, but the one on Ellie is from this year’s Holiday collection and the one Alice is wearing is from couple years back. Well, technically Alice’s Nellie dress with the bird applique is from Fall 2012 Jeweled Forest collection, but it looks pretty Christmassy… and just pretty. She’s wearing it with the matching basic leggings in pink stripe, and Cecilia headband in the same pink stripe. Cream Mesh Tee under the dress. Her red boots are Aster Mariana in Chili Bronx Suede. Ellie’s black and tan outfit is from Persnickety’s 2014 Holiday collection: Basic Holiday Applique tee with stockings and striped sleeves, and Coral skirt in tan. She’s wearing Brownie Pie headband, also by Persnickety, and Joyfolie Harlow shoes in brown with cream pleats and black bows.

Trish Scully paisley pleated dress in tan/black, with simple black Zara tights, and Joyfolie Lacey boots in tan – on Alice. Her hair clips are Joyfolie, that came together with the boots. Ellie’s outfit is: Janie and Jack Lace Print dress in tan/black, Eliane et Lena Michiko tights, Pageboy hat by Jak & Peppar, and Kickers Billy4 patent leather ankle boots in beige.

Alice’s A.Bird Kate dress in Cream/Gray is paired with simple Gap leggings. It matches Ellie’s Persnickety Playdate top in Cream and Double Ruffle Bells in Grey from Fall 2014 October Sky collection. Both girls’ shoes are Joyfolie: Alice’s boots are Maci in Gray, and Ellie’s lace Mary Janes with pretty bows are called Ellie.

Two of our favorite brands, mixed! Alice is wearing Matilda Jane striped long sleeve Lichen tee and Blue Orchid Crochet Sara top over Persnickety Turquoise Ruth skirt, which all together creates a dress look. Ellie has a Persnickety Turquoise Lou Lou top on, with Matilda Jane Box Canyon Big Ruffles. All Persnickety pieces are from their Emerald Pine collection, and all Matilda Jane pieces are from Secret Fields collection, except Alice’s Grassy leggings that are from an older Almost Summer line. Girls’ boots are Naturino in green suede on Alice and Livie and Luca Stitchers on Ellie.

Recently I discovered an online store that sells a lot of interesting avant-garde pieces of children’s clothing. This Toi Toi Toi sweater is not that quirky, but I like the volume and fuzziness of it, layered look for the sleeves, and a little 3D pin, kinda like a stuffed toy attached to the chest. It looks so cuddly and girly! The store called Wunway, and I think they got a long term customer in me:) Alice’s jeans are Destroyed Dark Wash Skinnies by Jak & Peppar. Dr. Martens Delaney boots.
