Two similar dresses by different designers. Alice is wearing Matilda Jane set of Whistler dress and Gleam leggings from Paint by Numbers collection. Ellie’s set is Persnickety Lexi dress and matching Basic leggings in Green from Emerald Pine collection. Both headbands are Persnickety – Green and Blue Leia on Alice’s head, and Idalia in Blue Stripe on Ellie. Oilily boots for the both girls.
Ah, my little Christmas trees! Ellie’s Deux par Deux sweater and skirt turned out to be a perfect color match for Alice’s Persnickety Ginger dress from Holiday 2013 collection. She’s wearing it with A.Bird Clare removable collar. The headbands are: Jak & Peppar Empress in burnt red on Ellie, and Persnickety Peppermint on Alice. Boots: Oilily on Ellie, and Naturino on Alice.
Another set of Thanksgiving outfits: Persnickety Gold Scissors Applique top, Matilda Jane Zanzibar skirt, Persnickety brown triple ruffle leggings, with Jak & Peppar Empress headband and Oilily Flower Power boots – that’s Alice’s outfit. Ellie is wearing Matilda Jane Coraline and Chrissy dress and Goldenrod leggings from Heart Soul Pride / Character Counts collection. Her Clove shoes in embossed yellow leather are by Livie and Luca from Fall 2014 collection.
I like that color combination of strong red coral and soft pastel blue. Persnickety Coral Lou Lou top and Wishing Well headband on Alice are from Bo Peep collection. Her Blue Dot Skinny Capris are from Sail Away collection by Persnickety as well. Boots are Flower Power by Oilily. Butterfly top on Elle is called All A Flutter Peasant Top, and it’s from It’s A Wonderful Parade collection by Matilda Jane. I paired it with Paper Wings red cropped leggings to match Alice’s top. Ellie’s blue headband is self-made from MJ’s Pontoon. Livie and Luca sky blue Petals complete Ellie’s outfit.
Here is our first Jak & Peppar. We tried 2 combinations with the Pep School Cargo Patch Forrest skinnies and Follow Your Heart tunic. On the first picture Alice is wearing Persnickety brown dot Lou Lou top with her Forrest jeans. Her Aster red boots are called Mariana in Chili Bronx Suede. Ellie’s Follow Your Heart dress is in Navy Bean color on that picture. She wears it with Oilily boots and Persnickety belt/headband in cranberry. On the second picture we paired Forrest skinnies with Persnickety scissors applique top for Alice. Her cable knit tan boots are UGGs. Goldielocks headband in gold is by Persnickety. Ellie is wearing a different Follow Your Heart dress in Red Railroad this time. These tunics/dresses are a few sizes larger than what Ellie normally wears, but I like them long. Her hair clip is self made, and the boots are the same Oilily.

For the Matilda Jane Green Pearl dress that we got earlier I had to get a matching Gumdrop tee and Sprite leggings to wear when weather gets colder. I was afraid that all three pieces together might look pajama-like with so much of the same color, but surprisingly it turned out quite nice. For Ellie I put together an outfit in contrasting red colors. She’s wearing Oilily Djazz corduroy dress from Around the World Winter Expedition collection and Matilda Jane Cherry tights from Serendipity collection. With greens and reds we’re extending our Holidays for a bit. For the shoes Ellie is wearing Livie and Luca Holland boots, and Alice is wearing PePe Prairies.
