5:30:15_IMG_6753Simple Matilda Jane dresses are perfect for a trip to the pool. Alice is wearing Redhead (or some call it Red Headed) Pearl dress with Starlet shorties. I’m not quiet sure, but think this dress is from MJ’s Sparkletown collection of 2009. Her shorties are from 2012 Serendipity collection. On Ellie – Stargazer Pearl dress from 2009 Gypsy Blue collection, and Candied Delight capri leggings from the current 2015 Hello Lovely collection. Shoes are: PePe Vitello Rose ballet flats on Alice, and Mini Melissa Furadinha with apples on Ellie.

5:24:15_IMG_6648Today we tried a pretty unusual for a girls’ wardrobe combination of navy blues with olive greens. Ellie is wearing Matilda Jane set of Meet at Dusk skirt, Simple Things tank, and Low Key shorties from current Hello Lovely collection. I was expecting the tank and shorts to match the skirt’s deep blue, as all three pieces were from the same release, and was disappointed that they turned out to be so much lighter. Green Mossy Willow hooded coat keeps Ellie warm – it’s from Matilda Jane’s Hammond Bay collection. Alice is wearing a beautiful mini dress by Tea Collection called Calico Parakeets T-shirt dress in Heritage Blue. Headbands are: Persnickety Idalia in Blue Stripe on Ellie, and Matilda Jane Bluebell headband on Alice. Shoes:  PePe perforated Spectator Mary Janes on Ellie, and Naartjie Smile boots on Alice.

5:19:15_IMG_6539 5:19:15_IMG_6556Oilily yellow pleather jumper dress is worn over Matilda Jane set of Lichen Tee and Truest Compass Ribbed leggings. I love how wide and loose this jumper is, the enormous amount of pockets, and fuzzy appliqué on the back! The yellow of Chelsea boots in Sunflower Patent leather by Mini Boden matched the jumper perfectly. They are from current Boden collection and still available in all sizes!

Alice’s outfits is: Persnickety Clara Estelle peplum top in plaid, Jak & Peppar Basic Olive leggings, and Heartfelt Hoodie in Burnt Red Motif. Brocade Maisole PePe boots in Taupe complete her outfit.

4:26:15_IMG_5982Matilda Jane Platinum Cotton Tail Fancy Shasta dress with Eliane et Lena cropped Aquarelle leggings and Persnickety Zaya Gray Rosette headband – that’s what Ellie has on. Alice is wearing Matilda Jane Sienna Puffer tee and Aries Big Ruffles under her Persnickety Betsy Halter top from Bo Peep collection. Her Wishing Well headband is from the same collection. Both girls wear Joyfolie shoes: Alice’s teal flats are Piper in seagulls, and Ellie’s dusty pink sandals with pretty flowers are called Jasmine.

4:25:15_IMG_5917We’re back to cooler weather for a few days now. Ellie is wearing Berry dress in Charcoal by KidCuteTure from their Kashka line that runs sizes from infant to 4T. Her Sun Kissed striped tights and Vintage Bloom headband are by Matilda Jane, one is from Good Hart collection and the other is from Secret Fields collection. Heart shoes are See Kai Run Francesca Mary Janes. Alice is wearing The Fantastic Flight shirtdress by Tea Collection with Matilda Jane Orion tights, Joyfolie Lace Glitter Bow clip, and Naartjie Smile boots.

4:18:15_IMG_5711 4:18:15_IMG_5724This sunny Saturday the girls wore their new Matilda Jane dresses. Both are from the current Hello Lovely collection, April 1st release. Alice’s white dress in yellow stripes is called Rise and Shine, and it’s still available in sizes 8 and up. Ellie’s peach pink flutter dress in tiny polka dots is called Pretty Pearls Dress, but it was sold out in minutes after the release and I’m afraid the link is no longer active. Both dresses are very simple, but fit so beautifully… Love the pleats of Alice’s dress and it’s fitted bodice. Love high ‘waist line’ of Ellie’s dress – it hides her ‘baby belly’ and brings out her baby cuteness. Both dresses are knit and stretchy – the girls feel comfortable, can move freely, and still look girly. We always wear shorts under the dresses, I just never mention them because they are not showing, but not this time… Ellie’s yellow shorts are Matilda Jane Cheerful Shorties from last year’s It’s A Wonderful Parade collection. Alice is wearing Persnickety White Double Ruffle shorts with her dress. Her Cream Lace Necklace is also by Persnickety as well as Ellie’s Goldielocks headband from Apple Blossom collection. Alice’s custom made hair clip came from Matilda Jane. Shoes are: PePe Vitello Rose ballet flats on Alice, and Livie and Luca Sundae Mary Janes on Ellie.

Her Navy Lou Lou long sleeve tee and Holly headband are by Persnickety, Chiffon Floral skirt is by Scotch R’Belle. Ellie is wearing Zaza Couture Marilyn Bubble dress in orange, Matilda Jane custom Hair Pretty clip, and See Kai Run Francesca heart shoes in peach.
