For the New Year’s celebration girls wore navy blue dresses, Alice’s is Maud A. dress by Blu Pony Vintage, and Ellie’s – Persnickety Penny dress over their Cream Mesh basic tee, with Tri-colored Rosette & Lace headband and PePe short suede Bow boots. Alice’s outfit is finished with Prairie boots in faded brown by PePe as well, and Persnickety Cecily headband.
For the Matilda Jane Green Pearl dress that we got earlier I had to get a matching Gumdrop tee and Sprite leggings to wear when weather gets colder. I was afraid that all three pieces together might look pajama-like with so much of the same color, but surprisingly it turned out quite nice. For Ellie I put together an outfit in contrasting red colors. She’s wearing Oilily Djazz corduroy dress from Around the World Winter Expedition collection and Matilda Jane Cherry tights from Serendipity collection. With greens and reds we’re extending our Holidays for a bit. For the shoes Ellie is wearing Livie and Luca Holland boots, and Alice is wearing PePe Prairies.
As promised, here are the dresses – aren’t they amazing? Recently I discovered this brand called Poppy from England. Turns out no retailer sells it in US. What?! Somebody, please start selling them here, because these dresses are dreamy! Ok, here is the story: Poppy is an adventurous girl who has a dog Fred and goes with him everywhere. Every dress comes with a book of a little story about this or that adventure. That’s what’s so special about them – they are not just border print dresses, they are storytelling border print dresses. Both of my girls are wearing the same outfit: Martha dress in red from the Aunt Eva collection by Poppy over Persnickety Cream Mesh basic tees with Cream Mesh cuffs, Persnickety headbands, and almost the same Livie and Luca Peacock shoes in black, Alice’s are with cream peacocks and Ellie’s are with pink.

The girls went to drop off their Santa Mail dressed in Persnickety Holiday outfits. Alice is wearing Zaya-Ann headband, Applique Ornament top, Tie skirt, and Black and White Ruffle leggings with PePe Prairie boots. Ellie is dressed in Zaya Gray rosette headband and Maitlyn apron dress over a Toffee Red tee by Oilily from their Around the World Winter Expedition collection.
Little Ellie is wearing a beautiful satin Chartreuse Sayuri dress in green by Eliane et Lena with matching Serafina tights. Livie and Luca Bay boots in Twilight.
In a spirit of upcoming Christmas – Alice is wearing Persnickety Nellie bird dress over Basic Grey Dot Mesh tee with Red Button Tab leggings. Leather boots are PePe Prairie in dark gray, and the owl backpack is from the Zoo collection by Skip Hop. Catimini Black Flowers winter coat will surely keep her warm.

Showcasing the Blake coat in chenille brocade by A.Bird. I love it’s length, texture, and the fact that it has no synthetics (I hate polyester) – even the lining is made from 100% cotton jersey. Alice loves it’s non-itchiness 🙂
Another Zara dress from their semiannual sale. I seriously want this one in my size. It’s a simple, yet sophisticated Contrasting Ecru mini dress with a beautiful texture. Love the super thin orange trims around the sleeves and neck line! Alice wore the dress with our favorite PePe Prairie boots in faded brown.
